HP says that its Envy Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer, a $269.99 multifunction inkjet designed for family rooms or home offices, comes endowed with "first-of-its-kind...advanced photo features." If you sign up for HP Plus, the printer comes with six months of HP Instant Ink subscription and cartridge-delivery service. Read our explanation about HP Instant Ink customer service. Inspire 7955e's subscription keeps its operating costs low enough to cover the purchase price. This is a significant difference from other photo-centric products with greater capacities and longer feature lists. This AIO is a great choice, even though it has a two-cartridge instead of a four-cartridge design.
From Envy Photo to Envy Inspire
Although they look very different, the Envy Inspire-7955e is the successor to the Envy Photo7855 that we reviewed back in 2017. The newer all in one is boxy and white, while the older model had curved and sloped chassis surfaces and was matte black. It measures 9.2 inches by 18.1 inches by 15.1 inches (HWD) when the trays are closed and weighs 17 pounds.
